Never let up in the pursuit of further development. This is the principle behind Schmechel‘s regular programs of continuous and advanced training – comprising everything from training modules for the professional truck driver qualification to special security training. Since 2009 Schmechel has its own certified training room with an extensive array of technical equipment. It is – not only – there where trainees acquire the basic knowledge for their work in the transport sector. Experienced employees are regularly informed about new technological developments and innovations in, for example, refrigeration and telematics
Combination of theory, practise and experience
In addition to the practical training at the headquarters in Bad Oldesloe, the drivers will also receive, in the next stage, online learning programmes so they are enabled to learn on-the-road. The familiar old manual that every driver has available in his truck is still reliable. This helps him throughout different situations during the working day. The result of this combination of theory, practice, and experience is the characteristic which sets Schmechel and its employees so far apart from all others:
